This project, for which Shaw Design Group, P.A. performed design, construction document production,
contract negotiations, construction administration and interior design services, is a 30,000 s.f.
comprehensive culinary academy for low-income and disadvantaged young adults. This educational tool
will train students of all aptitude levels to study and learn fundamental skill sets for productive employment in the food service, construction and business industries.
This newly renovated facility is the first of its kind in south Mississippi. Included in this school is a working teaching kitchen, construction shops and classrooms and classrooms for teaching G.E.D.
